Private Dining Room Guidelines and Information

Room capacity:
Amphora Dining Room will accommodate from 6 to 45 guests for a seated event. The Cooking School can accommodate from 4 to 30 guests . The restaurant has a capacity of 100 guests for a buy out.

Deposits & Room Charge:
A deposit of $500 is required to reserve the private dining room for dinner and $300 for lunch or brunch. Our private dining room fee is $100 for dinner Monday through Friday, $100 for lunch Monday through Friday and $150 for Saturday and Sunday events. All events located in our Cooking School have a room charge of $100 during the week and $150 for Saturday and Sunday events. There is a minimum of $750 for dinner and $500 for lunch or brunch.

Holiday Minimums December 1 to December 23:
During our very busy Holiday Season the food and beverage minimum is $1,500. for dinner and $1,000. for lunch.

Cancellation:
Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 7 days of the scheduled event. For all events from December 1 to December 23, the deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 21 days of the scheduled event.

Gratuity and Tax:
Menus are subject to a 20% gratuity and applicable 8.25% sales tax.

Menu Planning:
Menus must be finalized one week prior to the event.

Guarantees:
Guaranteed guest count will be due five working days prior to the scheduled event. After that date, Viognier can only accept increases in the guest count. Viognier will charge for the guaranteed number of guests or the actual number of guests that attended, whichever is greater. If the guest count is greater than the guarantee, there may be an additional charge of $5 per person. Neither food nor beverage will be provided for any persons who do not appear for your confirmed reservation.

Payment:
Final payment is due upon completion of the event. Viognier accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and Draeger's Card.

Corkage policy
Corkage fees are $25. per bottle. A maximum of 2 bottles will be allowed to be opened.

Audio Visual:
Audio/Visual equipment is available for the guest's needs. All audio/visual equipment needs must be arranged prior to the event date. An LCD projector and screen are available for your use free of charge

Music
The private room has its' own sound system. Personal compact disks may be brought in to be played during your event , or you may listen to music from the restaurant.

Bar Beverages:
We offer a full bar with an enormous selection of wines from our wine cellar. Beverages are based on consumption.

Flowers:
Flowers are provided by Viognier for each table. These bouquets remain the property of Viognier Restaurant. Additional flowers and floral arrangements are available through personal consultations with the Draeger’s floral department. We can arrange to have the flowers in the room when you arrive.

Gift Baskets:
A unique offering is our gift basket department for the assembling of tabletop gifts from bottles of wine to gourmet gift baskets.

Cakes:
Cakes can be ordered from Draeger’s downstairs, and we can arrange to have the cakes delivered directly to the Amphora Private Dining Room.
