Viognier Restaurant Reviews
San Francisco Chronicle
Viognier in San Mateo excels
at main courses.
"While the appetizers start the meal off pleasantly, Dishman really shines on the
seven main courses, where he alternates between rustic and refined presentations." –

"Don't let the fact that it's on top of" a "deluxe grocery" " dissuade you", because this popular "destination" never fails to "blow the socks off" San Mateo "foodies" - and it's evident that the "new chef" "takes advantage " of the market's proximity, as "salads glisten with freshness", meats taste like they came "directly up the stairs" from the butcher and the menu itself is "ever-changing"; the "crisp", "caring" staff includes an excellent sommelier adept at "stellar wine" pairings.
